Cyano-bonded silica SPE

Moderately polar sorbent

Cyano cartridges contain moderately polar sorbent with polar and hydrophobic characters.

As a normal phase mode, cyano is less polar than silica sorbent and can be used to extract in non polar matrices such as oil or cyclohexane.

As a reversed phase mode, cyano is less hydrophobic than C8 and C18 sorbents. It particularly suits for the extraction of acidic, basic and neutral compounds from aqueous solutions.
