Bio Analysis Small Molecules

Bioanalysis is the determination of drug concentration and their metabolites in biological matrices (urina, serum, saliva, tissue). Metabolomics is the comprehensive study of small-molecule metabolites.

Both fields require sample preparation tools for small molecules.

AFFINISEP has developed tools based on AttractSPE®Disks using very small particles entrapped for a very high cleanup efficiency. For these products, a very low void volume is observed. Several sorbents can be used such as HLB, C18, C8, DVB (hydrophobic), ionic polymers for weak or strong interactions (SAX, WAX, SCX, WCX)… The product exists under various formats from Stage tips (SPE tips), Spin SPE, 96 Plates SPE (1mL or for microelution) or SPE columns based on disks.

Other products are also available :

• AttractSPE® HLB (hydrophilic and hydrophobic interactions), DVB (hydrophobic), ionic polymers for weak or strong interactions (SAX, WAX, SCX, WCX) with powder sorbents including 96 wellplates.
• SilactSPE™ are silica based sorbents with the classical products C18, C8, etc…
• Removal of phospholipids with AttractSPE® LipRem.
